West of Scotland Cup

The game was a West of Scotland cup tie against Tower Hearts. We were a goal up after 15 minutes through Ian Seymour.

Despite not playing well we were then awarded a penalty after 35 mins but Andy Bell's spot kick was saved.

Turning round at 1-0 playing into the wind we conceded a goal after an hour. The ref then gave Tower a  penalty from which they scored to go 2-1 up after 75 mins.

We then had to commit  players forward in numbers in search of an equaliser. We then got another penalty but Ian Seymour's shot came back off the post.

Mark Duncan levelled the game up with 5 to go. We played well in extra time and went 3-2 up via a goal from Andy Bell.

Tower then went down to 10 men. In total control of extra time until an incident saw Andy Bell and another Tower player sent off.

They then squared the game up with 7 mins to go in extra time but we scored again with a well worked move finished off by Graeme Dayer.

Final score 4-3 after extra time.
