Slow out of the blocks today then two cracking goals from Michael Fulton seemed to put us in control but we got very lax again and every credit to Saltcoats for making us sweat for the points and then a cool finish from Gavin Brown late to clinch the points.

Had to laugh at one Saltcoats fan in particular saying the ref favoured us he must have been watching a different game to the rest of us.

For me it was a far more entertaining encounter that the Irvine Vics game last weekend.

Michael Fulton and Tommy Sloan work very hard together and never give defences a moments peace.

Ben Lewis is consistently our best player, bigger clubs must be sniffing about the lad.

Saltcoats tried hard, they played as if they thought that the Buffs were still a big scalp!

It's the sign of a champions when the team doesn't perform that well, but still comes away with the points.

The squad is beginning to look stronger too, with Monan and Ferris coming off of the bench.

Thomson and Findlay are doing a good job, I'm fairly confident that this team will take us out of this league this season.

Wee bit of a reality check today, played for about 20 minutes of the 95 and scraped in! Saltcoats were the best side second half, we seem to think we had the game won at half time, then when the saltcoats scored we lost the plot.

If I were the Saltcoats manager I would hang my head in shame 2-1 down and they had 7 or 8 set peices, corners, free kicks, but still kept 3 back and three outside our box, don't understand that.

We have got to win this league! they're not going to give it to us, finger out BUFFS !!!!
