A scrappy 1st half ,it didnt help the ref not taking better control of a dirty muirekirk team,
not them all but there was several bad players in that team. in particular there no.9 was a total chancer.
We did play better in the second half and justice was done with another 3 points in the bag.
As many of us have said before the standerd of refs in this league is bad.

When we played Muirkirk down there I praised their team for trying to play football and not resorting to fouling at every opportunity after todays game I can only say that they kicked tripped and elbowed from the kick off til the game finished BUT the referee must take a lot of the blame because he should have sorted it out early doors but he didn"t so they just carried on doing it HE WAS HOPELESS As for the game Buffs won well but again they made it harder than it should have been, the 2nd goal just before half time settled us down and it was easy after that. We`ll need to be a bit sharper next week at Winton but can`t complain too much after winning 5-0. A.D.

Scrappy first half i think a lot to do with Muirkirk Tactics which were over the top and like Al when we played them down there they tried to play the game in the right manner so that made it all the more annoying they came to Abbey Park with that kind of attitude

2nd half the players probably had a bit of a tongue lashing despite us being 2-0 ahead we came out upped the pace and they couldnt live with us and a superb hat-trick for Gavin Brown the icing on the cake and in truth it could have been a lot more.

And now for the big test at Winton Park next weekend against a team who will be smarting a bit due to their result at Blair Park today so we will have to be at our best but i am sure it is a game the lads will relish.

Thought the Buffs were a wee bit lethargic first half (polite way of saying pish) but they did turn it on in the second half, we got there, onwards and upwards,results have worked out well for is ' as some might say FATE!!!
